There's one person behind Upgraded Systems: Pascal van Santen, working from Maasdijk. He spent years in engineering and saw where the time went: into work that was the same every week. Recalculating quotes, retyping orders, converting drawings, systems that won't talk to each other. With a background in engineering and software he started turning those processes into software that takes the work over. That's still what we do — and he builds it himself, so you talk to the person who makes it.

Production, construction and supply. That's where we come from, and where most of the week-in week-out work sits.

  • The process already exists

    You have a way of working that makes sense; it just lives in people's heads, folders and spreadsheets instead of in software. We convert it — we don't reinvent it.

  • Repetition with consequences

    A quote you miscalculate costs margin; an order you retype costs a day of production. Exactly the work software doesn't make mistakes in.

  • Engineering isn't a foreign language

    Tolerances, bills of materials, drawings, export files: nobody has to explain those to us before we can start.

How we work

Intake, proposal, building in short rounds, delivery and upkeep. We build the software and keep it running for one monthly fee — hosting, maintenance and upkeep included. What that fee is, you hear after the intake: any earlier and it's a guess.

What we don't do

So you know where you stand.

  • No client names without permission

    There are no logos and no quotes here. If they ever appear, they appear with a name and with consent.

  • No numbers we can't back up

    No "40% faster" without a measurement behind it. What it saves, you work out on your own process — we do that together during the intake.

  • No software you don't need

    If a setting in your current system does the job, we'll say so. That costs us a project and saves you a lot of money.

  • No project without something to show

    You're never waiting months for a hand-over. Every round there's something you can try yourself.
